3M 983 diamond grade edge sealed reflective tapes on mine site vehicles, trucks and equipment provides 24 hour visibility and safety. These fluorescent tapes provide high visibility during daylight and especially at dawn – dusk. They also have equally high night time reflectivity as non fluorescent coloured tapes.
Edge sealing, or the use of a pre-edge sealed product, protects against the wear and tear from dirt and grime, also when subject to high pressure cleaning at acute angles.
We stock 3M products which exceed the requirements of the Australian Standard AS/NZS 1906.1:2007. Also in stock is a range which meet the European Union’s UN/ECE104 regulation. UN/ECE104 compliant products have markings which guarantee you of the highest performance product available. On some mine sites and civil construction sites these markings are compulsory.
Correct surface preparation and application is the most important factor with adhesives. A ‘3M User Guide’ is provided with all reflective tapes and includes information on the application as well as care and maintenance to ensure you get the best durability and performance.
High visibility reflective tapes can be used around workplaces and sites on various surfaces. Static obstacles, door, entrance ways, anything that is a potential impact hazard for people, vehicles or other equipment.
